Remembrance Parade & Service

Lytchett Minster & Upton Town Council and Lytchett United Branch of the Royal British Legion are pleased to announce that this year’s Remembrance Parade will take place on the morning of Sunday 13 November 2022 and will be taking a different route to previous years along Lytchett Minster School driveway.

The parade will start at 10.30am outside the entrance to the school reception and process along the driveway to Lytchett Minster Church where the Act of Remembrance will take place from 10.45am. This will be followed by a service in the church from 11.25am where there will be a collection for the Poppy Appeal. After the church service the parade will form up at 12.20pm to march back along the school driveway where it will fall out at 12.30pm outside the main school building.

Members of the public are invited to attend the parade and church service to pay their respects. Please note that access for parking and drop off is available at the school from 9.30am up to 10.00am. Thereafter the parade route will be closed to vehicular access. The school grounds can be accessed via Post Green Road. Please note that the school drive way is one-way traffic only.
