The Town Council is keen to hear the views of our residents in relation to the proposal to reduce the speed limit along Sandy Lane and associated roads to 20mph. The reduction in speed will ultimately be the decision of Dorset Council; however, they have asked us to consult with the residents and provide feedback. Dorset Council advise that it is not possible just to implement the speed limit reduction in just Sandy Lane, it also has to be rolled out in associated roads.
These roads include:
Sandy Lane
Yarrell’s Lane
Moorland Way
Sea View Road
Watery Lane
Policeman’s Lane
Please complete the consultation questionnaire to let us know your thoughts on the proposal. You can access the questionnaire as follows:
- Online survey via the following link Questionnaire Sandy Lane 20mph questionnaire
- Printing the questionnaire and returning the completed form to the Town Council via post, letterbox or email (see details below)
- Visiting the Town Council office to pick up a hard copy of the questionnaire.
The consultation ends on Monday 30 September 2024.
